    Critiques:

    Critique 1

    0:03:30 – Critique number 1 is for Trish, http://rollersdirect.com/.

Homepage: Team discusses there is no visual indication of what the product is above the fold. How can you show off what the product is whilst pulling on the emotional aspects of what the product will do for the customer. Tanner recommends changing the button color of the call to action. Red carries a negative connotation. Matt recommends simplifying the main navigation to 3 simple links. The team recommends building a wizard and a custom section that allows users to find the correct product. Also allow users to input their custom details so Trish can guide them as to what they will need. Educate the users on the homepage and product page, hiding valuable information behind links may cause issues

Collection Page: Travis recommends adding the calculator to the collection page, and also add badges on the product image to make it clearer. The team discusses how Trish can automate the process of customers finding the right amount of product for their fences.

    Critique 2

0:46:30 – Critique number 2 is for Hemapriya Natesan, https://shop.mylittlemoppet.com/.

Homepage: 4 category images below the main banner are not labeled. Tanner recommends removing the account login/register from the top of the page if not many users create accounts. Travis mentions that he had no idea what product was sold with the information given above the fold. The team discusses the confusion with the main navigation and dropdown menus.

Collection Page: BGS do not recommend ‘quick shop’ functionality. Move the most important filters above the price filter. Collection images should be close up images of the product so the user can see what you are selling. Sales badges are overlapping the product images.

Product Page: Include the benefits of the product high up on the page. There needs to be a clearer indication that a user has added an item to the cart, the best way to do this is to take them straight to the cart page or have an ajax cart.

Cart Page: Links should be blue and underlined to make it clear to users that it is a link.

Checkout: Order summary should be expanded on page load.
