Summary of Jam Session:
In this session we break down the Behavioral Life Cycle journey of a customer and take a look at Klaviyo and Wheelio.
Critiques:
Critique 1
0:15:00 – Critique number 1 is for Carlo Krouzian. We take a dive into Carlo’s Klaviyo and point out what 3 sequences he needs to have set up straight away. 2 of them are where we go after prospects, Cart Abandonment and Exit Intent. The last one being a welcome flow after they become our customers.
Wheelio: John shares his thoughts on the color scheme that is currently being used. Bright colors that almost blend together making it very hard to read and not appealing to the eye. The default colors Wheelio provides are easy on the eye and are attractive. Follow the BGS setup for Wheelio to get the best results.
Klaviyo: John speaks about the Technical Implementation for Klaviyo in a previous Jam Session, explaining an overview and setup of Klaviyo this is not covered today. Next John speaks out what can happen if you are sending out emails to your whole list and the importance of segmenting your list.
The 4 R’s: The right message at the right time to the right target audience with the right offer.
Critique 2
0:52:35 – Critique number 2 is for Claus Lauter. Next, we take a look at Claus’s Klaviyo setup. John suggest removing spam emails or flagged emails. If you send them emails it will also flag your email which will decrease your deliverability. Then John lists off the initial segments we use when setting up Klaviyo. Then goes through what each segment is used for!
Bret goes over some examples of split testing within Klaviyo. Includes subject line, titles, sub headers and copy.
Critique 3
1:19:30 – Critique number 2 is for Dave Poon. Dave is looking for advice on his Klaviyo flows after recently swapping over from Mail Chimp.
Bret and John share their knowledge on how to improve open rate, engagement and revenue.
