0:10:00 – Shopping Behaviors & Enhanced Ecommerce: Pan speaks about what most clients miss when they set up GA. Not correctly setting up Shopping Behaviors and Enhanced Ecommerce. There are 3 options that are vital to be switched on through settings in GA.

0:12:46 – Optimal Bounce Rate: The optimal bounce rate is between 40-65%. Anything above 80% indicates there is something wrong with your site, and anything around 10% indicates there is something wrong within the set up. This could be due to tracking two page views set up from GA and Google Tag Manager which causes it to double fire events.

0:18:30 – Top Events: Pan breaks down how to find out what buttons are being used on the site by tagging them as events and potentially removing such buttons if they are not being used. Event are located under Behavior > Events > Top Events. These events are tagged via Google Tag Manager then reporting is viewed through GA.

0:26:21 – Filtering Out IP Addresses: Pan shows you how to filter out your own IP address and others. Go to Admin > View Settings > Filters. This is very important so you or your devs do not skew data and it is more accurate.

0:28:30 – Filtering Out Paypal: Pan then explains how to filter out Paypal as this will also skew your data. To do this go to Admin > Property Settings > Tracking Info. There are two things you need to do in this section. You will also need to add to the Referral Exclusion List.

0:32:50 – Going Deep Into Event Tracking: Pan shows how deep you can go into event tracking and the power behind this. Also you can track videos on your site to see how effective your video is.

0:42:30 – Serving People The Right Information At The Right Time: Matt goes in depth as to why customers do not make a purchase from your site. Your website is your conversion you are having with your customer.

0:45:35 –  Data On Customers Who Search: Team explains why we stress so much about making your search bar prominent and the conversion difference between users who use the search function, with users who do not.

0:59:10 – Weekly Workflow GA Check: Pain explains what he checks on all our partnered stores on a weekly basis. This is more of a health check to ensure the data is accurate for our RO’s.

1:03:25 – Page Speeds: Another really good way to check your sites health is Page Timings. To get here go Behavior > Site Speed > Page Timings > DOM Timings. People will normally freak out when they initially see their page load speeds under ‘Site Usage’, although the important metric is actually DOM Timings.
