    Critique 1

0:18:45 – Critique number 1 is for Dan Teschner’s store, https://www.herbaffair.com/. This store supplies herbs, spices and provides customers with the ingredients to make their own custom herbal supplements.

This critique focuses on the homepage, mobile menu, footer, email signup, search bar.

We spend some time speaking about the number of products are on the store, to how many of those products actually sell and the reason this could hurt conversions. Also offering customers Priority Processing since they have great shipping times. Aleks speaks about target audience and giving the customers a clear value proposition as to why they need this product. Tanner speaks about price elasticity, test increasing the price of your products and monitor results. Also, prepopulating your search bar with microtext leading the customer to products we want them to search for. People who use the search bar tend to spend more money.

Moving on to the product page there were HEAPS of valuable tips mentioned, on what to add/remove on the product page and sorting variants. Listing objections in the copy to provide clarity and trust.

    Critique 2

1:00:00 – Critique number 2 is for Chris Greenwood’s store, Chris is a rock artist who uses funnels and sells books, music and merchandise. We start by looking at his free book upsell funnel, giving advice to video sharing platforms which enable autoplay and proper alignment of Chris’s headers and video. Proof apps should always be tested as they have been heavily abused and may be doing more harm than good. We dive into critiquing Chris’s description layout, fonts, and testimonial section, https://smartmusicbusiness.com/freebook.

Next we take a look at Chris’s course funnel. Changing his call to actions and showing Chris how to convey his message better. There are visual issues with white text on black backgrounds and walls of text, the team do not hold back and give some great advice on copywriting.
