    Matt opens up a discussion regarding data and the importance of knowing what is going on in your business. Invest in learning GA to make decisions based on data.

    Homepage: Make your search bar more prominent as users who use the search function are 3-5x more valuable. Matt talks about being very clear on your banner’s CTA and value proposition. Daniel mentions asking your customers why they bought from your website use their language in your value proposition.

    Mission Page: The mission page has a lot of text and needs to be broken up with images or bullet points, so it is more easily digestible. Increase the body text to a minimum of 16px. Deven talks about using story-telling and images that reinforce the mission for visual confirmation. Include an opportunity to shop from the mission page. Add an image of your team so your customers can put a face to your name.

    Deven talks in depth regarding the persona behind the brand in the way you communicate with your customers. Being the voice of the brand.

    Product Page: Product descriptions are walls of text. Insert some unique story-telling descriptions using your voice of the owner of the brand to sell your products, sharing your design inspiration.

    Krystie is seeking advice on how to communicate a new physical product offer that she has been working on. Matt gives some advice on how to promote this clearly to her customers. The team recommends adding a CTA above the fold that scrolls the user down to the add to cart button. Increase the size of the text for better readability. Matt recommends a “What’s Included” section to clearly state what the customer gets. Daniel recommends an unboxing video. The team talked about incorporating a comparison chart.
